Air Shower is designed to minimize the risk of contamination caused by personnel entering a cleanroom. When a person enters the Air Shower and closes the entry door, both doors are automatically interlocked, and the shower cycle begins. High-velocity air jets are activated for a preset duration, effectively removing particulate matter from the individual.
The preset shower time is adjustable from 0 to 255 seconds. The system is equipped with electromagnetic interlocking, ensuring that only one door can be opened at a time. Once the preset cycle is completed, the exit door unlocks, allowing the person to enter the cleanroom.
The air circulated during the shower cycle is filtered and re-circulated through a multi-stage filtration system consisting of pre-filters and HEPA filters to remove contaminants. Clean, filtered air is then routed back through the nozzles to maintain effective decontamination.
